Ethical Decision-Making Framework
Tuesday 16 May 2017

Dear Firstname

Interpreting and translation involve managing professional relationships, and require fast situational judgement and sound professional decision making skills.

This webinar will provide interpreters and translators with a framework for reflecting on ethical and other professional practice challenges. In the webinar, we will analyse professional practice challenges using the Demand-Control Schema framework, explore the goal-based (teleological) approach to ethics and professional decision making models.

Participants will apply the ethical decision-making framework to authentic interpreting and translation scenarios.

Anna Kenny is a Professional Development Coordinator with NSW Health Care Interpreter Services.
