Simultaneous Interpreting Short Course
13 - 15 February 2018
  

 
Certified Interpreters (or Accredited Professional Interpreters) with at least 3 years dedicated interpreting experience in Farsi, Greek, Italian, Mandarin, Portuguese, Spanish or Vietnamese are invited to apply to attend the Monash University Simultaneous Interpreting professional development module. Applications are open until Sunday 17 December.

This course is an introduction to simultaneous interpreting as used in conference, business and diplomatic settings. The interpreting skills involved are also key skills in community interpreting, such as for court and mental health settings. Please note the course is intended for experienced and certified (or accredited) spoken language interpreters only.

This Professional Development course is run with the support of the Department of Premier and Cabinet, State Government of Victoria.

PD points

Upon successful completion of the course, participants will be eligible to earn 60 PD points towards recertification (Section 1.1 of NAATI PD Recertification Catalogue)
