This forum is to facilitate and enhance understanding amongst all parties of the issues involved in interpreting in legal settings, including interpreters, judges, lawyers, barristers, police as well as other interested parties. The objective of the event is also to promote the JCCD’s “Recommended National Standards for Working with Interpreters in Courts & Tribunals”, and to ultimately improve overall quality and practice of interpreting in legal settings.

AUSIT QLD Committee warmly invite all qualified and aspiring interpreters in Queensland to this signature event for 2018 hosted by AUSIT QLD branch, which will give you a great opportunity to meet with the judicial members and legal officers to discuss your interests and concerns in your legal interpreting practice.
