QLD Branch Notice of Annual Branch Meeting and IN CONVERSATION: Q&A for Translators and Interpreters

Members are advised that the AUSIT QLD Annual Branch Meeting for 2026 will be held on Wednesday 14 October from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm on Zoom. This meeting will be held pursuant to the provisions of Section 8.2.1 of the Constitution. We cordially invite all our QLD members.

This year, given the success of our In Conversation sessions at the Big PD Day 2026, we will run another session as part of our Annual Branch Meeting. Here, we will collaboratively discuss ethics and everyday practice questions. Please bring your questions to the meeting!

Purpose and function of this information submission form.

This form enables you to report issues or problems that you encounter in the course of court interpreting assignments. These issues and problems will be collected by AUSIT to report to the JCCD (the Judicial Council on Cultural Diversity) to monitor the implementation of the Recommended National Standards. The reporting of these issues and problems enables AUSIT to work with the JCCD to suggest steps to address these issues and to avoid the repetition of these problems in the future.
