About

Henry is a NAATI Certified Translator for Chinese and English (both directions) and a NAATI Certified Interpreter for Mandarin. He holds a Graduate Diploma in Translating and Interpreting from RMIT University and practices mostly in community translation. Most recently, he has been involved in the training of translators at RMIT. Henry joined the AUSIT Victorian Branch committee in 2021 and is keen to add value to the translating and interpreting industry by raising the profile of quality services delivered by T&I practitioners.

Outside of his translating and interpreting practice, Henry leads a career in the international higher education and research sector at tertiary institutions in Australia and overseas.

Purpose and function of this information submission form.

This form enables you to report issues or problems that you encounter in the course of court interpreting assignments. These issues and problems will be collected by AUSIT to report to the JCCD (the Judicial Council on Cultural Diversity) to monitor the implementation of the Recommended National Standards. The reporting of these issues and problems enables AUSIT to work with the JCCD to suggest steps to address these issues and to avoid the repetition of these problems in the future.
