About

Christine Le is a PhD candidate in the School of Humanities and Communication Arts at Western Sydney University. She received an MA in Chinese Translation and Interpreting from UQ and an MEd from QUT. Christine’s involvement with the translating profession in Australia includes engagements with NAATI as an expert consultant and examiner, a trainer at RMIT, and a subtitling translator and reviewer at SBS. Besides, she is a NAATI certified specialist legal interpreter and has over 10 years’ experience in providing professional interpreting and translating services in legal settings for various courts and law firms in Australia.

Purpose and function of this information submission form.

This form enables you to report issues or problems that you encounter in the course of court interpreting assignments. These issues and problems will be collected by AUSIT to report to the JCCD (the Judicial Council on Cultural Diversity) to monitor the implementation of the Recommended National Standards. The reporting of these issues and problems enables AUSIT to work with the JCCD to suggest steps to address these issues and to avoid the repetition of these problems in the future.
