About

Christine Le is a PhD candidate in the School of Humanities and Communication Arts at Western Sydney University. She received an MA in Chinese Translation and Interpreting from UQ and an MEd from QUT. Christine’s involvement with the translating profession in Australia includes engagements with NAATI as an expert consultant and examiner, a trainer at RMIT, and a subtitling translator and reviewer at SBS. Besides, she is a NAATI certified specialist legal interpreter and has over 10 years’ experience in providing professional interpreting and translating services in legal settings for various courts and law firms in Australia.

We acknowledge the Traditional Owners of Country throughout Australia and recognise their continuing connection to land, waters and community. We pay our respects to them and their cultures and to Elders past and present.
