NAATI-sponsored PD events

Free for AUSIT members and NAATI-credentialled practitioners, online and on demand

Unnamed (1)

In mid-2025, AUSIT and the National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters (NAATI) signed a landmark Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).

This unprecedented initiative – the first agreement of its kind between the two organisations – will directly benefit translators and interpreters across Australia. Through this partnership, NAATI has committed funding for 30 free professional development events to be delivered over a two-year period, from July 2025 to June 2027.

If you are an AUSIT member and/or a NAATI-credentialled practitioner you can access these events at no cost, helping you to enhance your skills, build resilience, and stay adaptable in an ever-evolving industry.

This collaboration is a testament to what is possible when organisations come together with a shared vision. It is also part of AUSIT’s ongoing commitment to delivering tangible value to our members and to strengthening the T&I profession as a whole.

Submission form

for court interpreters to report incidents or issues that occur in court interpreting assignments.

Purpose and function of this information submission form.

This form enables you to report issues or problems that you encounter in the course of court interpreting assignments. These issues and problems will be collected by AUSIT to report to the JCCD (the Judicial Council on Cultural Diversity) to monitor the implementation of the Recommended National Standards. The reporting of these issues and problems enables AUSIT to work with the JCCD to suggest steps to address these issues and to avoid the repetition of these problems in the future.
