About

Adrian Garcia Rodriguez was born in Madrid, Spain, and moved to Adelaide in 2017. After completing a bachelor’s degree in communication, media and broadcasting at Carlos III University (Spain) and Nottingham Trent University (UK), he worked for 10 years in the media industry, including as a radio producer and radio station manager, and as a content navigator and archivalist for the ABC newsroom in Adelaide. 

In 2021 he completed a diploma in interpreting at TAFE SA, and later did a translation course there. He is NAATI certified in Spanish–English interpreting since 2022, and has been a member of AUSIT since 2024. 

With experience in legal, social and educational interpreting and a special interest in medical/clinical interpreting, Adrian believes that it is now more important than ever to uphold the industry’s quality standards to support our rich multicultural society, providing the level of service our clients deserve.

Purpose and function of this information submission form.

This form enables you to report issues or problems that you encounter in the course of court interpreting assignments. These issues and problems will be collected by AUSIT to report to the JCCD (the Judicial Council on Cultural Diversity) to monitor the implementation of the Recommended National Standards. The reporting of these issues and problems enables AUSIT to work with the JCCD to suggest steps to address these issues and to avoid the repetition of these problems in the future.
