New Member Referral Reward

What is it?

Throughout 2024, AUSIT members will receive a reward of a free PD webinar* from the AUSIT Webinar Library for referring a new member.** 

Why is AUSIT offering it?

AUSIT is only as strong as our membership, and we have a mandate to represent all Australian T/Is … but we can only do this if they join us. And the more of us there are, the more we will all benefit.

The biggest advertisement we have is our current members! So when talking to non-member translator and interpreter colleagues and friends, do encourage them to join – and if all the benefits of AUSIT membership don’t come to mind on the spot, you can use our handy ‘Reasons to be a member …’ list below. 

To reward you for inviting them to join, we’re offering this incentive.***

How does it work?

It’s easy! When your friend/colleague is filling in their online application form, they just need to put your name in the relevant box. Once their application has been fully processed, you will receive an email explaining how to claim your reward.

* Only applies to new Student and Ordinary membership applications (NOT past members who are renewing/returning). Valid for applications made in 2024. Maximum of 3 rewards per person. 

** Up to 4 hours long. Choose from the webinars that are available here. Must be claimed within 6 months of the notification email. 

*** It’s important that you disclose your own benefit in this, so remember to tell your friend/colleague who’s joining up that you will receive a ‘Referral Award’.

Submission form

for court interpreters to report incidents or issues that occur in court interpreting assignments.

Purpose and function of this information submission form.

This form enables you to report issues or problems that you encounter in the course of court interpreting assignments. These issues and problems will be collected by AUSIT to report to the JCCD (the Judicial Council on Cultural Diversity) to monitor the implementation of the Recommended National Standards. The reporting of these issues and problems enables AUSIT to work with the JCCD to suggest steps to address these issues and to avoid the repetition of these problems in the future.
