Submission form

Interpreter feedback form on experiences in court and tribunals.

If you are an interpreter who has completed an assignment in a court/tribunal anywhere in Australia, please use this form to report about your experience.

Your information is anonymous and kept confidential. There is an option at the end to leave your contact details if you wish to be contacted by the Interpreter feedback on RNS Implementation Committee but this is optional.

Purpose and function of this information submission form.

Optimal Standard No.4 https://jccd.org.au/publications/national_standards_interpreters/annotated-standards-recommended-standards-for-courts/#annotatedopt4 provides for interpreters to have a mechanism to give feedback after a court/tribunal assignment. AUSIT invites interpreters working in court/tribunals around Australia, regardless of whether they are AUSIT members or not, to provide feedback. The data collected will help ascertain the extent of implementation for the Recommended National Standards (RNS). You should fill out one form per assignment if, in your opinion, there was something worth reporting about the assignment by reference to the RNS. Thank you in advance!

Submission form

for court interpreters to report incidents or issues that occur in court interpreting assignments.

Purpose and function of this information submission form.

This form enables you to report issues or problems that you encounter in the course of court interpreting assignments. These issues and problems will be collected by AUSIT to report to the JCCD (the Judicial Council on Cultural Diversity) to monitor the implementation of the Recommended National Standards. The reporting of these issues and problems enables AUSIT to work with the JCCD to suggest steps to address these issues and to avoid the repetition of these problems in the future.
