Having moved back to Australia in 2008, she gained NAATI accreditation as a French>English translator and joined business partner Valerie Benghezal at Transit Translations.

Catherine holds a BA (Hons) in Communication Studies from Murdoch University (WA) and a Diploma of French Language and Culture from the University of Lausanne (Switzerland). She is also a qualified ESL/EFL teacher, having worked in Australia, Spain and Switzerland. This experience proved helpful as PD Coordinator for WA, the branch committee she joined in 2013 and where she has also served as Treasurer and now Branch Chair.
