The Conference Organising Committee has chosen the following venues for the conference and associated events. 

The National Wine Centre 

The National Wine Centre of Australia in Adelaide offers a state-of-the-art Conference Centre, making it an ideal venue for hosting corporate events and conferences. With its stunning architecture, experienced event planners and exceptional service, it provides a unique and memorable setting for business gatherings. 

The Wine Centre boasts a stunning city / Botanic Garden location, award-winning food and wine, and Australia’s only city vineyard’! 

You can catch a peek of the NWC’s Hickinbotham Hall – with its soaring raked wooden ceiling, natutal light and stylish wooden fittings throughout here, and of the vineyard here.

The Malt Shovel Taphouse

This year’s Conference Organising Committee are hosting the Welcome Reception in one of Adelaide’s prime riverside venues, The Malt Shovel Taphouse. The Taphouse prides itself on offering ‘all things craft beer and flavoursome, authentic food … in a relaxed, contemporary space.’ Located on the River Torrens, at the Adelaide Festival Centre and at the end of the Adelaide Oval Footbridge, the Malt Shovel provides ‘an escape from the hustle and bustle of the city – in the city!’ 

The Malt Shovel Taphouse is located at Festival Centre, Festival Dr, Adelaide SA 5000.

The Hickinbotham Hall

Named after a family that has made a huge contribution to the Australian wine industry, the NWC’s cathedral-like Hickinbotham Hall features a stunning raked wooden ceiling exposing its structure, along with state-of the-art audiovisual capabilities and a wealth of natural light which combine with its rammed earth walls and wooden fittings to give it a natural feel.

Adjacent to the Terrace, this unique and elegant space is well suited to fine dining and celebration, and will be transformed into a magical venue for our annual Conference Dinner.

for court interpreters to report incidents or issues that occur in court interpreting assignments.

Purpose and function of this information submission form.

This form enables you to report issues or problems that you encounter in the course of court interpreting assignments. These issues and problems will be collected by AUSIT to report to the JCCD (the Judicial Council on Cultural Diversity) to monitor the implementation of the Recommended National Standards. The reporting of these issues and problems enables AUSIT to work with the JCCD to suggest steps to address these issues and to avoid the repetition of these problems in the future.
